"Overall impression of Casa Mia...truly excellent,
you have all done a great job in selecting it and then
refurbishing it. We love the decor etc and the more we
reflect on it compared to other mainstream apartments,
we realise yours is in another league. It's in a truly
quiet setting with real privacy and a great view to the
Sierras above Old Mijas village...whether morning or evening,
that vista is always refreshing! The apartment easily
accommodated us as a family of four with room to spare,
and the simple furnishings meant the children could have
relatively free reign. Really pleasantly surprised by
the easy, nearby access to the castillo's pool area -
which is also one of the nicest we've found, offering
sun, shade or shelter depending on your preferences. Again
the kids had a ball there. As for eating out, there are
some quality places and although a car helps, several
are within a pleasant stroll's distance and we particularly
enjoyed the Clubhouse Grill, El Golf and Venta La Morena
(especially good with its attached, secured playground).
To top it all, a visit to Old Mijas was well worth it,
a classic old Spanish village if ever I saw one. We are
really looking forward to coming back."
